Juvenile Delinquency
Juvenile delinquency can be defined as an illegal or unethical behavior by adolescent children. Juvenile detention center is the legal system center that enforces some specific procedures handling juveniles. The level and types of youths in the society is a greater impact of formal and informal socialization process for found attitude towards unethical behavior within the society.
Juvenile delinquency continues to develop a big range of behavioral expertise in the whole world. Some regard to child abuse as a major impact while other people give a suggestion that child abuse in particular cannot be a predictor of delinquency. There are various theorists who from their indication, the peer influences together with socio-economic conditions can be an enormous factor in the development of delinquent behavior.
The theories on the causes of youth crime within a particular community are such as peer influences, family influence, race, and self-esteem. These are therefore the juvenile delinquency theories in a child or youth’s life, unfortunately it has been depicted that most of these factors overlap. In addition to the above, fascination in youth crime the social microscope consistently refocuses on unethical and adolescent offending behavior, therefore it is because of this fascination which is causal in political and historical views of criminal adolescence.
According to Muncie, (1999), “youth in general and youth crime in particular, is and will continue to be `a constant source of fascination and concern for politicians, media commentators and academic analysts.” Currently it has been found out that juveniles are using more and powerful drugs than in the case of ten years back. In addition to the above, some juveniles start using these powerful drugs at a very tender age. Therefore the motivation of young people towards criminal offences is triggered by the use of these illegal drugs.
