Marvel already has had a huge success in a television landscape throughout last several years. Their potential seems to be endless, so we are expected to wait for another boom this year. Let’s check out new Marvel shows coming in 2017.

Shows Coming in 2017

1. Iron Fist – March 17
The story about Daniel Rand aka Iron Fist (Fin Jones) who is basically a billionaire Buddhist fighting against impudent crime in New York City with the help of his outstanding kung-fu skills and superhuman ability to strike opponents with fiery Iron Fist power. 
Daniel parents’ company, after their death in a fly accident, is in Harold Meachum hands and he should prove his identity and get it back as soon as possible because the clan of assassins is planning to flood the city of New York with a new dangerous drug.

2. The Punisher
As stated this year, Netflix and Marvel are going to expand their collaboration by showing up the story about the Punisher (Jon Bernthal), the vengeful Vietnam War veteran whose name is Frank Castle. After the brutal murder of his family, he is going to declare war against all NYC criminals using all his master abilities to use different weapons. Though the date of premiere had never been published, Marvel gave a cue about its release in 2017. 

3. The Defenders
The reunion of four Marvel heroes Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist in order to fight their biggest threat in New Your City is going to be released in the second part of this year, approximately fall. The showrunners assigned to this mini-series are expected to be Douglas Petrie and Marco Ramires who, by the way, used to showrun Daredevil series.

4. The Inhumans
The eight-episode drama about the race of superhumans with unique and diverse powers is going to debut with the first two episodes in IMAX theatres for two weeks in 2017. The next six episodes are going to be presented in ABC in September 2017. Fans shouldn’t mix it up with once-planned Inhumans film by Marvel, which was taken out of its release schedule.
