Mornings… How different they can be. Some are lazy, slow, willing to procrastinate, when others are effective, productive, and active. Which group do you belong to? Statistics show that successful people choose the last option, as they know that morning routine sets the rhythm for the whole day. In another way, it is so hard to overtake all missed things till the evening.

  1. Put your alarm clock a little bit far from your hand. Do it in such way that to switch it off or choose a snooze regime you will need to get up. The rule number one is NO RETURNING to the bed. You should sit, rub your eyes, stretch, think of nothing, and let your body wake up without stress, but do not get into bed again, as it can spoil everything in a second.
  2. Doing something you like at once after you have got up will show you how to become a morning person in a short time. Plan your morning routine since evening to avoid discouragement, passiveness, and frustration. Choose the most pleasurable task first to complete. It can be whatever you want: tasty drink or snack, reading, exercising, taking a shower, surfing the Internet, writing a list of the activities for the following day.
  3. Small physical exercises during the first 30 minutes after waking up will make you a morning person quicker. Scientists proved that fitness and active movements provoke serotonin or hormone of happiness. For this reason, if you organize yourself for at least 5 days of doing your morning exercises, your brain will start to associate early waking up with joy instead of stress.     
  4. Go to bed earlier. Give your body at least 6, but better 7 hours of rest to be ambitious and productive during the day. Even if you get up at 5, but will feel sleepy all the day, it will make no use. Appropriate sleep is the essential condition for your healthy look and feeling.

There are no successful leaders, CEO’s, athletes, doctors, businessmen who allow themselves to slam snooze button several times in the morning. All they are eager for new tasks and challenges of a day and possess enough willpower to overcome their laziness. You are not worse! Become one of them!
